After careful analysis, several pie charts and implementation of the scientific method involving the comments on yesterday's post, I have come to the following conclusion...
Mamas love their babies.
Ain't no way around it.
Whether you're like Flying Jae's Mom, who is currently expecting her third baby; Michelle, whose babies were delivered by the adoption stork; or Tauna and Cate, who are, as Cate so aptly put it, looking down the barrel of an empty nest... One thing holds true.
Mamas love their babies.
BUT, there was also mention of morning sickness, throwing fits, and even hemorrhoids (which I didn't even know how to spell until just this minute), so I feel quite confident that all those commenting have also endured the not-so-pleasant aspect of mothering as well. The harsh realities. The knowledge that... Everybody poops. And everybody pukes. And it usually lands on you.
And despite all of that, we are all still head-over-heels in love with our children.
But I kinda already knew that.
So what is one of my favorite things about having babies?
I'll be back to tell ya' later.
But I will give you a hint...
It has something to do with...
...this guy.

let me guess.... Mr. Blue Eyes does the following while you're preggers; rubs your swollen feet and lower back nightly, does the laundry and dishes, tells you daily how beautiful your distended abdomen looks and tells you that your face is 'cherubic looking and not fat at all', waits on you hand and foot while you relax in the recliner?
ps. you evil temptress with your posting of cute baby pics and discussions on the joys of motherhood! if I am pregnant there will be only one person to blame.........
okay, maybe 2 ;)
pps. I like the idea of the adoption stork and not so much the idea of hemorrhoids.
Ya 'roids are so very glamourous!
I know dang well why you are wantin' to get all preggers.....it's the practicin' that you like.
I wasn't born yesterday ya know.
The biggest reason of course is then you get cute little monkeys like you got and well, there just isn't any resisiting all that cuteness all over the farm. Besides you get to enjoy watchin' the Handsome Hunk play with his babies and it gits all started over again.
You're hopeless.
Let us know when you buy the EPT!
We do love our babies. Even when they are 30, 29, 22 and 21...yep, still love em to pieces!
If you were to tell me that you are in the same boat as me...or about to be, I would be SO thrilled for you! :) Excited is more like it!! We just got a 3d/4d ultrasound done. Looks like it's another boy!
"Everybody poops. And everybody pukes. And it usually lands on you." HA!!!
hehehehehe, your post makes me go awwwww. ;) Great shot with the hat. Boys sure do like their Daddy's cowboy hats!
