Thirty-One Days of Thankful: Little Miss
December 5, 2011
Oh, little Miss Peaches. Where do I begin?
I could tell you about how exceedingly loud she can be.
I could tell you about how exceedingly sweet she can be.
I could tell you about how exeedingly determined, yet tender-hearted, she can be.
Like most women, she's a complex individual. I think the differences between men and women in general, and men and women in our family, in particular, can be demonstrated by our Christmas tree shopping experience...
Mr. Blue Eyes and Little Blue Eyes would have been content to choose and saw down the first decent tree we saw, while Miss Peaches and I were compelled to drive around the tree lot several times, walk down rows and rows of trees, and look them all over before we were content to settle on one.
But I digress...
Miss Peaches.
What I really want to share with you today, about Miss Peaches, is this...
The girl cleans up good.
(with my sister at my nephew's wedding last September)

She has no problem being a girly girl. She loves dresses. She loves to sing and dance, play with her dollies and pretend she's a princess.
But day to day, left to her own devices, wardrobe and hair style selections, THIS...
...is how she rolls. Total farm girl.

She's our garden girl...

Our goofy talula...

She overheats easily...
...both physically and emotionally.
But underneath all her fire and spunk, beats a tender, loving heart. She's the one who wraps herself around me and won't let go, strokes my cheeks while we're lying in bed, and holds my hand when we're out and about.
I am so thankful for my sweet daughter.

Miss Peaches,

First of all....those little flower girls dresses are darling. That shot from them behind is so cute.
The white bow.............I LOVE!!!!
She is a precious little angel. It's hard to believe that she is growing up so fast! I remember her little red headedness not very long ago. (yesterday wasn't it?)
Loving your thankful series.
