Rough Week

Despite my aspirations to be a real live blogger again, the week has thrown me for a bit of a loop. It has been filled with the needs of our sick Little Blue Eyes. I took him to the doctor a couple days ago and she said she thinks it's a virus that needs to run its course, but to come back if he's not better by the end of the week. As of right now his temp has climbed back up to 102. Poor Little Blue Eyes.
The last couple weeks for us have been dentist, doctor, crying, whining, dentist, eye doctor, tylenol, advil, coughing, sweating, whining, whining, whining, tylenol, advil, tylenol, etc...
I'm a frustrated mama, and a little worse for wear today after some less than restful nights and daily dealing with daycare kids who are a little under the weather themselves, yet I'm reminding myself that this little bout of illness will pass, it just may take a little longer than I'd hoped.
On the bright side, it is a beautiful day! Since I was up at about 5 a.m. doling out Tylenol, I opened our bedroom window and layed in bed for about an hour, enjoying the cool morning air and listening to the birds chirping. I think that may be my favorite way to start the day. I'm also very thankful that the weekend looks to be pretty relaxed, and The Cheech is coming to stay with us for a few days while my mom is out of town!
So much to be thankful for, really.

Back in March we had this crazy virus thing too, high temps for all kids for about a week. Turned into ear infections for the littlest one. Now I think we are finally good to go, except I have gotten a runny nose over the weekend. Anyways here is hoping for sunshine in your house and that nasty virus to part ways!
