On the Horizon

My entourage and I (Mr. Blue Eyes and the babies) snuck over to the neighbors to hijack their computer for a bit. I needed a fix.

The bad news: My hard drive is on its last leg and is receiving the computer version of an organ transplant (i.e. having a new hard drive put in). Please pray it doesn't reject the donor hard drive.

The good news: Unless it crashes before the transplant is complete, it should be good as new and have twice the storage capacity, and no data should be lost. It's in surgery (i.e. cloning of the old hard drive to the new hard drive) right now. Again, please pray.

No, just kidding. Don't pray for my hard drive. There are so many other things that are prayer-worthy these days. I would hate for your conversations with God to dwell on my computer's health.

We're packing and flitting around with last minute details before heading to MN this weekend. I can't quite wrap my brain around all of the changes that are going on, so instead I just keep putting one foot in front of the other, somewhat mindlessly, and somehow things seem to be getting done.

I still have so much to tell you about our trip to see Pioneer Woman... I mean, Ree. (I was at their ranch. I smelled their cow's poop, for goodness sake. I should probably call her by her first name.) As soon as I am reunited with my laptop I'll get you up to speed. In the meantime, if you're searching for details, hop on over to Maesa's blog and she can fill you in.

All I'm going to say right now is this: If any babies are created as a result of me bringing Miss Peaches to PW's ranch, I am not responsible. Yes, she's cute. Yes, she's a good little girl. But people, I cannot be accountable for your reproductive futures. You know who you are.

Sorry about the hard drive! I swear, if that happens to mine....gulp! Is the repair cheaper than just getting a new laptop? Glad things are still on track for your move....hang in there, it'll all be over soon enough and you can start settling in! ;)

I just went through this about 2 weeks ago with my laptop! The new hard drive is in and my laptop has recouperated. I pray yours is a speedy recovery as well! Guess what! You are famous! Your picture is on Ree's blog! That is so awesome! And Miss Peaches, too! Glad you had a wonderful time. Hope your move is smooth and safel! Praying for you.

Glad you got the chance to blog. I've been wondering what you were up to. Besides the move, of course.
Can't wait to hear about your trip to meet PW.
