'Nourish' - In Action
May 16, 2011
I gotta tell you, I've been eating like a horse lately.
Seriously.
I graze all day long.
The good news is, I haven't gained a pound.
And the good news is, it's all good stuff, so it's nourishing my body.
And the even more good news is, it's tasty.
And the bad news...
Well, there isn't any! It's all good!
I'm sorry. You probably couldn't care less about my eating habits. But I get really excited and encouraged when it comes to eating well. I think y'all should hop on the wagon. I think we could appropriately call it the 'turnip wagon'.
But I'm not here to climb up on my soap box about whether or not you should ride the turnip wagon with me, just to share my little slice of happy.
One of these days here, I'll delve into why I'm not eating dairy or sugar, in addition to not eating gluten. I just haven't gotten around to it yet because I'm too busy dreaming about gardening, and I also don't want to bend your ear too, too much when it comes to what I eat.
Speaking of horses...
(I did... speak of horses... way back up there at the top of this post... just in case you missed it...)
Speaking of horses...
I turned them out onto the pasture grass for the first time the other day. (They've been on hay all winter.) This is always an exciting time for me... I just love seeing them bury their muzzles in that fresh, green grass. After a long winter, you just know it has to be absolute heaven for them.
Well, I'm off to bury my muzzle in some broccoli or some other such vegetable.
Go find some nourishment today!

Health & Wellness,
Horses

I love the picture of your delicious green grass! The horse looks like he's totally in love too.
