My Other Parenting Technique

Yesterday I waxed on about my new found parenting style of letting my kids 'work it out'.

It's so revolutionary. I'm sure none of you parents out there have ever tried that before. Aren't you so glad I told you about it?

Not.

Today, however, I'm going to share a parenting technique with you that you actually have probably never used.

(And probably never should use.)

The other day when Little Blue Eyes was getting a little unruly, I promptly told him if he didn't shape up, I was going to have Burley nip him in the buns.

This was Little Blue Eyes' response to the threat...

(As you can clearly see, he has the down-and-out forlorn look down pat.)

I just love the progression of his expression these pictures. It gives me such a tickle.

Oh, me. Sometimes you just gotta laugh.

Burley's response to the situation?

He said he'd gladly be my enforcer once he finished his nap.

Oh my goodness that is hilarious!!!!
I have an unruly 20 year old. Can I send her? Or can I have Burley?

He has such a sweet face!
