My Best Shot Monday - Played Out

I'm cheating again. I didn't take this picture this week. (As if you probably couldn't tell by the vibrant green grass... The weather has been nice here, but not that nice!)

This was taken a few years back when Burley was a younger pup. Whenever I run across it while perusing my picture archives it tickles my fancy.

I like the vibrancy and simplicity in the colors... Red, green, black, brown, white... And the different textures of the grass, the rocks, the chewed up ball, and Burley's fur. Also, I haven't tinkered with it in Photoshop at all (other than to add the drop shadow on the outside). I love it when pictures come straight out of my camera looking just right.

So, that's my best shot this week. Be back later with the simple tale of what we did today... It was a good day.

Given the huge pile of snow we have outside, it's a relief to see some green! Love the stone wall in the background!
