Lake Wedding

My nephew and fiance were married at a beautiful lake resort over the weekend. At the last minute, they asked if I wouldn't mind snapping a few photos. (Knowing me, this was pretty much a given anyway.) It was fun to stretch my creative muscle, and I definitely learned a few things about wedding photography along the way.

But the highlight of the event, for me?

Little Miss Peaches there on the right, rockin' out her flower girl groove.

Oh yeah, she was totally into it.

She actually skipped down the aisle.

She skipped down that aisle like a little filly in springtime.

I attribute her success wholly to her co-flower girl there on the right. She did an excellent job of being a leader for Miss Peaches, and the two girls spent the day hugging, holding hands, and being generally adorable.

The bride and groom didn't look to shabby either...

I think my creative muscle must be fatigued, because, as Forrest Gump would say, "That's all I have to say about that."
