In Bloom
April 30, 2010 I'm about to show you some pictures of things that are in bloom here in the farm.
But before I do, I need you to do three things for me:
1) Imagine that birds are singing beautiful melodies in your ear.
2) Imagine that it is the last day of April, your favorite month, and you are wishing it a sweet farewell, until you meet again next year.
3) Imagine that both of your toddlers are sleeping in, not just until 7:30 a.m., 7:45 a.m., 8:00 a.m., or even 8:15 a.m.... One of them till 8:30 a.m., and the other until 9:15 a.m. This is unprecedented. This is unheard of. This offers you a few hours of quiet and peace on the last, beautiful, dewy morning of April to wander the yard with your camera and soak it all in.
You are blissfully peaceful. There is no hyperventilation going on.
Now we may proceed...
Good morning, beautiful. How was your night?
Mine was wonderful, with you by my side.
And when I opened my eyes...
...to see your sweet face...
...it's a "Good morning, beautiful," day.
Have a great weekend!

I love the orchard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please take a picture of your family there!!! Beautiful setting.
Gorgeous post!! LOVE the flowers!
geeesh! gorgeous green & blooms, it looks like the MN version of the Garden of Eden! we are just trying to keep from blowing away out here on the CO high plains- I've got 8 clothespins on a freshly washed jacket and I'm hoping it doesn't end up in the next county...maybe this week I'll get a raised bed assembled and rig it up so my topsoil won't swirl away -
I wish my yard looked like that! Wow! What are those first blooms? Beautiful.
I adore your garden. I can't wait until mine is as lush. Beautiful photos!
How did I miss this? I love, love, love tulips! Your garden is beautiful! Absolutely! :-)
