I Have a Dream
December 30, 2009
But things may have to get worse before they get better.
I'm revamping the look of my site. If you happened to stop in during the day today you may have seen quite a crazy mess of words and graphics. Thus far I've at least gotten it to be readable. My bigger plan is to morph it into the likeness of the above image (my photoshop template).
After playing around and hemming and hawing in fear of losing my old site forever, I finally bit the bullet and started making changes. I'm already missing my old look, but I know there are bigger and better things on the horizon, and New Year's is all about making changes, right?
So if you're around these parts within the next few days and things look a little discombobulated, don't worry... I've got it all under control.
Kind of.

Update - 10:26 p.m.
Ahhhhhhhhh.... FRuStrAtioN! This new design mumbo jumbo is hard stuff. Why can't it just *VOILA* look the way I want it to with a wave of my magic wand? I've made all the little adjustments that I can for one day... Now I'm off to dream about it, I'm sure. Here's hoping that tomorrow I will wake up with a few hundred design-related epiphanies!
Happy, though... With the new look. Sigh.

I think it will look great! I'm still pinching myself because you have joined the world of the "wasting my time infront of the computer people"
AWESOME!
I'm about to dive in head first and do the same thing - wishing for the *VOILA*...
It looks great! I commend you for tackling it. I have played with code minimally, and it's always VERY scary. I have stayed with my basic format now for a while, and just change my headers. I like simple blogs. And I like the two column because I can load my pics nice and big. I am excited to see your end result. But even if you stop here- it looks really nice!! :)
