I Did a Bad Bad Thing

Let's be honest.

We all saw this coming.

I tried to talk myself out of it.

I relied upon my steadfast, rational, sweet-cheeks husband to keep me on the straight and narrow.

But then I saw this...

...and everything else ceased to exist.

I claimed her.

I named her.

(Elsa!)

And now she is mine, forever and ever.

All mine.

Except... I suppose I have to share her with my husband and children. 'Tis but a minor detail.

I regret nothing.

I question myself not.

Elsa is in our world. Suddenly, colors are more vibrant. Food tastes better. I wake up earlier just to embrace the day.

And take Elsa out for a potty break.

I swear to you, when I look at her, all I hear is Louis Armstrong singing What a Wonderful World in my head.

And if you're honest with yourself, you'll admit that you do too.

It's a good thing I'm going to be so willing to share pictures of her with you.

Brace yourselves.

What kind of an absolutely adorable teddy bear pup is that????? I want to scratch that fur! Ya, I can certainly understand why you were unable to resist.
I love the name. Elsa was the name of the lion in Born Free! Way before your time. I was a little girl. Great movie.

Elsa is 7/8 great pyrenees and 1/8 border collie. And you're right, 'Born Free' was before my time. But Elsa was pretty much 'born free' on the farm where she grew up -- has never really been in confinement. How's that for ironic?

Hubby and I were "awwwwing" in unison when we saw Elsa. So darn cute and furry!

Aww! She is so cute! I had a border collie as a kid, her name was Elsie though.

And Tauna, while "Born Free" was also made before my time, I used to watch it all the time growing up. I LOVE that movie... my daughter watched it for the first time a few weeks ago, she's still in that "what the heck is a TV?" stage but it was cute to watch it "with" her.

Elsa is too cute! What an adorable puppy. I don't blame you one bit. Our corgi got hit by a car a couple months ago and my almost 5 year old has been asking for a puppy every since. Now we already have 2 other dogs but maybe for Christmas. Have fun!
