Hittin' the Road

We're takin' this show on the road.

That's my way of saying that we're going on a little vacation. Kind of. My nephew is getting married on Saturday, and it is about an eight or nine hour drive. We're going a day early so we can spend some time with my nieces and their families.

This is about as close to a vacation as we ever get.

And when you spend three days preparing for a four day 'vacation', and probably three days unpacking once you get back, is it really a vacation?

Whatever it is, I'll take it.

Since I'm going to be off the ranch for a few days, I thought it would be fun to go back through some old posts and re-post them for your reading pleasure. I'll schedule them to pop up throughout the time we are gone. I just realized the other day that I'm close to writing 400 posts! (Not including the photography and recipe posts.) Who knew I was so long-winded?

Don't answer that.

Peaches is the perfect name for that peach colored hair little gal of yours! She's darling!
Little Blue looks like he's a pretty awesome big brother.

Glad you are going to go on a vacation. But you are so right, that's a lot of work and laundry to come home from after all that relaxing.

Have a great time.
