This picture has nothing to do with this post. I just think it's a cool picture, and... Well... Sometimes it's really hard to match pictures up to what I'm writing about! Especially lately, as I just haven't had much time to pick up the camera.
Can anyone guess what it is?
I'll pay you a whole a dollar.
If you get it right. Not just for guessing.
Anyhow, wanted to tell you what I got to do this weekend...
1. Listen to my children giggle while my husband threw balls at them.
2. Move slowly, be still.
3. Have several, long, wonderful conversations with my husband.
Ohhhh... How I needed that! It definitely tipped the Friday night scales back in our favor.
You know, it is hard to be as honest as I was on Friday. It's still tempting to open up that post and click 'Delete!' I guess I just believe that there is power in sharing our struggles, and there's no shame in admitting that it happens. If my writing was all, "La la la, everything is blissfull all the time!"... Well, that just wouldn't be the truth.
I like to think there's value in truth.
And that concludes my deep thoughts for the weekend.

I've finally slowed down enough to get on the internet.
It sounds like you've had a totally busy week.
Your plate is full with gravy dripping off the edge.......metaphorically speaking.
You sound so normal....tired, overwhelmed and normal.
There are so many times it did seem like my hubby and I passed in the night and we just went from one thing to another, but then there was epiphany of seeing what was right in front of me and seeing that it was really what it was all about.
I hope you have a great week and I hope it's controlled chaos.
