Gone Puppy Gone

Ohhhhhhhh..... I don't even want to say this, but...

I can't find Elsa today.

She was here this morning as usual, I went out and gave her a pat on the head and a treat, and I haven't seen her since.

She's going through an adolescent, runaway phase. But usually Burley goes with her, and they don't go far.

But Burley is still here.

And Elsa is not.

Big, strong, smart brother is here.

And little, naive sister is not.

And it's raining.

And I've called and called, but... No Elsa.

She just can't be gone...

Who would lick me with kitty litter breath?

Who would lay on my carrots in the garden?

Who would plod around with the kids?

Who would play with Timber?

Who would frolick in my garden and chase butterflies?

Who would steal my gourds and chew on them?

My insides are all twisty.

But I believe in the power of prayer. Please pray for my mammoth puppy.

I'm going to go look out the window for her some more.
