Friday Night Light

Friday night is sort of becoming 'pizza and beer' night around here.
Beer for us.
Root beer for the kids.
I'd also just like to take this moment to say... Yes, I'm a Christian. And I do have a beer (or even two) every once in awhile. Usually on Friday nights. Is everyone o.k. with that? I don't drive anywhere, and I think I'm following the Biblical principles of drinking alcohol, so I think it's all on the up and up. But I just wanted to be forthcoming.
And now I'm forthgoing... Onto the next subject...
For the last couple months or so I've really, really been getting into making homemade pizzas. And can I just tell you? They are DELISH.
As in DELISH-EEE-OUS.
As in DELICIOUS.
(Is that how you spell delicious? I've had half a beer... I'm a little loopy. I think it is. Let's just say it is.)
So, tomorrow Monday sometime next week (who am I kidding... I'm busy playing outside this weekend and so are you!) I'm going to share one of my homemade pizza recipes over on the 'Farmer Gal's Table' page.
Not tonight.
Tonight I'm going to take it out of the oven, take a few more pictures of it, and devour it like a rabid animal.

Beer, how dare you, haha! ;) And pizza...oh you've given me an instant craving for a slice of some hot, juicy, cheesy pizza! We need to get together some time soon to try out your pizza experiments. I will be the ever-so-willing guinea pig!

So eager for your pizza recipe. You know how unavailable a nice hot pizza is where I live :-(
I think a beer on Friday night is a-ok in my book. Somehow at the end of the week it goes down mighty good with several slices of pizza. Enjoy. :)
We have a long standing tradition of homemade pizza on Christmas eve. We love it! We let each person put on the toppings they want. Its a big hit.
