Farmer Gal Ramble #10
June 5, 2011 My Hose...
I've never told you how much I love my hose. And since it's 'hose season' (garden watering, lawn watering, etcetera), I figured now is as good a time as any.
Why do I love my hose? Simple... It's soft and bendy, yet strong, making it relatively easy to drag around the yard.
It's also very good at spraying my kids while they run through it. But that's kind of irrelevant.
It's called a Flexzilla and you can find it here.
The end.
You Might Be a Redneck...
I don't think I need to write anymore, other than to say, yes, this is at our house.
Flower. Pretty flower.
Again, need I say more?
So pretty.
Dogs. Hot dogs.
Turns out... Old(er) dogs... Can learn... New tricks!
Who knew?
Henry...
...who is a water dog by nature (he sticks his whole head in the pail when he drinks water), has taught Burley, who is not a water dog by nature (more of a water phobe), the joys of swimming the dredge ditch.
It would be a wonderful way for them to cool down, now that are days are getting much warmer, if the dredge ditch weren't sort of, um, icky. I know this from personal experience.
But they's dogs, and they gonna live like dogs. You gotta let it do what it do, baby.
The end.
Sick Kids...

Actually, it started out with 'sick mama'. I came down with a head cold late last week, and now the kiddos are fighting it off. I'm happy to say we seem to be kicking it to the curb pretty quickly. Good thing... It's sunny and beautiful, and we've got too much fun to have out there in it!
Hat Head...
I love this picture.
I just thought you should know.
The end.
Seriously.
The end.

The Kids

So glad to see that you are enjoying your summer weather. It seemed to take ages to arrive for you! Can't wait to see your vege garden pics soon.
I may have to get that hose. I hate my hose. Its like wrestling a boa constrictor every time we drag it out. The only benefit is that I am probably getting a good workout for my arms and core! haha! Love your pics! Glad you are feeling better!
I love all of those pictures.
The flowers are so vibrant.
My favorite is the hat hair.
She's such a sweet doll.
Love the way you capture life of the family.
