Evidently...
I'm not as prepared for sending my son off to pre-school as I thought I'd be. It's rocking my world.
Evidently...
These children feel the right -- entitlement, even -- to keep growing. Maturing. Learning. Going forth into the world.
Who told them they could do this?
Was it you?
I'm indignant.
It. Was. Not. Me.
Look at this picture, one year ago...
Is that a diaper Miss Peaches has on? She hasn't had a diaper on since... Well. Probably 'round about the time this picture was taken.
See? Cheeks. Nice and chubby. Just like I like 'em.
Now? Lean and lanky. The baby chub is slowly melting away.
This may be partly due to all the corn grinding we make them do.
But seriously. Who gave my kids permission to grow up? I'm achingly aware of of quickly the time is passing.
I don't even have toddlers anymore, people. They're kids. Yes, they may be little kids; but they're kids.
I'll be back tomorrow to discuss this in a more rational state, I promise. For now I must go... The littlest kid wants me to read her a story before bed.
Or will she read me the story?
The way this situation is getting out of control, it wouldn't surprise me.
Love,
