Break of Day

I've been seeing the crack of dawn a bit more these days... Since the daylight savings time change, Mr. Blue Eyes and I have been trying to get up early, before he leaves for work, to do a little Bible study time.

I love it.

But I'm not very good at it.

Last week we were three for five.

This week we're two for three.

Mr. Blue suggested maybe we should do our Bible study at night, but I resisted. I just really love starting off the day in God's word. It puts the right perspective on the day ahead. I also love being able to spend a little time with my husband before he leaves for work.

I'm praying we'll continue. I'm also realistic that it is likely not going to happen every single day. Some days (like today), I'll need that extra hour of sleep. Some days, one of us will be sick. I just know, if we can do it as many days as it works, it is a very good thing.
