Bounty

It's simply that wonderful, delectable, superb time of year when fresh produce peppers my counter top and my world. I'm up to my eyeballs in vegetables.

I. Just. Get. So. Dang. Excited. About. Vegetables!

When I'm out there in my imperfect, brambly, weed-overgrown garden, I just feel at peace with the world.

And when I stroll up to the house with all that it produces, I just feel so thankful inside...

Thankful I'm able to make the time to have a garden.

Thankful the Lord gives us such great bounty.

Thankful my husband and children love to be out there with me.

Thankful for its beauty and inspiration.

It is in this state of mind that I've decided to start a page on my website, Organic Gardening. (You may have noticed the picture in the sidebar.... Button/page/link coming soon!)

I don't know what I'm going to write about. It certainly is not going to be a comprehensive guide about... anything! All I know is I love gardening, I'm especially passionate about raising our vegetables organically, and I need a place for all this garden love to spill out of my soul.

p.s. I posted a recipe for garden fresh salsa on the recipe page! Tomatoes... from our garden. Scallions... from our garden. Jalapenos... from our garden. Limes... from somewhere in California. (Our growing season is too short here.) Other than the limes, it was fresh from garden to table. To tummy! Yummy!
