A boy. And his dog. And his dad.

Little Blue Eyes has taken to holding onto Timber's leash when we go on walks.

Not too long ago this wouldn't have been possible, but now Little Blue Eyes has developed his fine motor skills, and Timber's pulling-on-the-leash skills have somewhat dwindled in his old age.

Or have they?

I may have spoken too soon.

At this point it really becomes a question of Who's really walking who?

And the answer to that question quickly becomes evident.

Until big daddy steps in, takes over, and conquers the little beagle beast...

... and they're once again on their merry way.

The only thing better than a boy and his dog?

A boy and his dad.

Hahaha - love your little 'uns expression when the dog was getting too much - followed by the look of sheer bliss on dad's shoulders.

Cute pictures. :) My 4 year old has similar problems when walking the dog. Sometimes we're not sure whose really pulling who.

Oh how wonderful that you have such wide expanses of land on which to roam! Such a sweet post of your son, husband, and dog. Love the photos!
