Keepin' it hot and steamy...

Let's face it: after the Christmas season, winter can sometimes be a bit hard to bear. It can be for me, anyway. All that snow is great when it's part of the holiday nostalgia and cheer, but from about Jan. 1st to the end of March, there are days when the frigid cold and gray skies can kind of bring a gal down.

I pondered what might make it all a bit more bearable. And after thoroughly exhausting many options and creating pie charts and calling my former statistics professor to help me analyze my data, I came up with this...

Soup.

It always boils down to the hot and steamy, doesn't it? I mean, we just can't get enough of that kind of thing. Soup, I mean. What did you think I was talking about?

So, I have settled upon spending the rest of these winter months exploring the depths of my soul and my stock pot to come up with new and exciting soup recipes to warm my own heart, and yours, if you'll have me. Or have my soup, that is.

You should... Have it.

Me and my soups, we won't let you down.
