My Best Shot Monday - Change Is Gonna Come

Tracey is busy being inspiring as ever over at Mother May I. For this week's 'My Best Shot Monday', she got me thinking about spring, and things in bloom. Though we're just a hair too cold to really start feeling like it's spring around these parts, I do feel like my creativity has been in bloom. It seems like winter -- more than any other season -- brings it out in me.

Thought I would share this old hydrant this week. Right now its pipes are frozen and no water is to be had, but that's gonna change soon. It's old. It probably has a few cracks in its pipe. My father-in-law put a mass of some sort of sealant caulk on it that keeps it from leaking.

When the right time comes, the time for it to be productive, it will.

I like the composition and the DOF in this shot. It does look like it is still cold where you are, hoping you get some warm weather soon. We had two 50 degree days here an it starting to feel like spring.
